Note: due to the humid weather of Singapore, we strongly recommend user placing a saucer/dish under the Salt Crystal Lamp to prevent damaging your furniture.


  • What does salt crystal smell like?
    •
    		Salt crystal has no discernable odour. Some people say there's an ocean smell, but without the fishiness, like a feeling in the nose. It's common to see people sniff the lamps, but really there is no smell. Many don't believe until they lick it.

  • What shape and colors do you have?
    •
    		Being NATURAL, there are NO two Salt Crystal Lamp of the same size, shape, color and stand. Therefore each Salt Crystal Lamp is unique and one of a kind! Each lamp stands at an average height of 20cm (depending on sizes) with natural base.

    Different sizes available. Weight ranges from 2-3kg, 3-4kg and above 4kg.

    The colors will vary between apricot and peach, to off-white and orange, blue-ish and even red. The coloring of each is unique just like the shape.

  • What does the package includes?
    		• You'll get a beautiful, unique Salt Crystal Lamp together with a power adapter and one light bulb.
    Additional 15 watts bulb can be purchased at $2 each.

  • Do I have to switch it on for 24 hours and will it cause a surge in my electricity bills?

    • Ideally, it should be left turned on for as long as possible. This will not only maintain a constant negative ionizing process but also repel the excess moisture build up around the lamp.

    The Salt Crystal Lamp uses only a 15 watts bulb which would not cause a huge increase in usage of electricity even when turned on for 24 hours.


  • What if I do not use it for some times, or have to travel and there is nobody at home?
    		•
    		To enjoy the maximum benefits from using the Salt Crystal Lamp, it is recommended to switch it on daily for as long as possible. Otherwise, a minimum of few hours a day will be sufficient to keep it dry.

    If not in use, wrap the Salt Crystal Lamp in a plastic bag and store in a dry environment so that it does not expose to the moisture in the air.

  • How do I clean and take care of my Salt Crystal Lamp?
    		• For regular cleaning, use a feather duster or dry cloth to remove dust. Occasionally, wipe it with a slightly damp towel. After cleaning, turn on the light bulb for a couple of hours to keep it dry.

    Salt Crystal Lamps have the ability to draw water from the surrounding atmosphere. Hence DO NOT soak or sprinkle or wash in water. Do not keep in a moist room or be placed outdoors eg the garden area. In especially moist or humid areas, a light film of water may build up and hence the surface of the lamp may be slightly damp. Turn the light on for awhile will dry it well. If crystallization occurs, just wipe away with a damp cloth.

    Never use oils or polishes, despite how nice and shinny it might look you may effectively reduce the capacity to purify indoor air as well as basically pollute the surface. How does a salt lamp absorb humidity when it is coated in oil?

    If you choose to place a Salt Crystal Lamp on a wooden surface, make sure that it has a waterproof base so that it does not damage your furniture.

  • How Do I Change the Light Bulb?
    		• Simply just squeeze the assembly and pull it out. Change the bulb, snap the assembly back in and turn your salt lamp back on. As simple as that!

    Always use the appropriate Light Bulb Sizes for the salt lamp, replace the bulb with the same watt size bulb that came with your salt lamp, which in this case is a 15watt light bulb.
